CORPORATE SPONSORSHIPS

The PVAC Fund, Inc., a 501 c (3) nonprofit organization, and our Community Partners, invite you to join us in supporting Scholarships for the Class of 2021 and Montgomery County High School Graduates attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). The Montgomery County Parade of Scholarships is a 3-Hour TV Broadcast inspired by the legendary “Lou Rawls Parade of Stars,” and will air in the Washington Metropolitan Area in the Spring 2021. The Parade of Scholarships is a collaboration of many Community Partners led by the PVAC Fund, Inc.

Our grass-roots organizations are collaborating during these difficult times to show the youth of Montgomery County that despite the pandemic, increased unemployment, and a growing number of parents facing financial challenges, we collectively are still here for them and we will continue to provide Scholarships to academically astute and economically disadvantaged students pursuing a college education. Our goal is to award $100,000 in Scholarships. Scholarships will be awarded to students from every High School in Montgomery County.

We are requesting your sponsorship of the Montgomery County Parade of Scholarships. As a Sponsor you will help us provide financial assistance to young people pursuing their dreams through higher education. However successful any one of us is, we all know we did not get here on our own. For many students, a special teacher, coach, or mentor recognized their potential and provided the helping hand that was needed and made all the difference in their lives. This is the goal of the PVAC Fund, Inc., and our Community Partners, to be that helping hand that provides the support needed to allow these young people--many with great promise and limited
resources--to reach their full potential. As a Sponsor you can influence the educational destiny of our young people.

Corporate Sponsors will be recognized during the TV Broadcast, in Press Releases and TV and Radio promos leading up to the Parade of Scholarships. In addition, Corporate Sponsors are invited to submit Public Service Announcements (PSA) to air during the Broadcast and pre-recorded check presentations, if desired.
